Hello! I’m Kaye Handlon, a free-lance website developer / web designer in North Carolina. I love working on websites, and I’m very lucky to be doing what I do at my lovely farm in Chatham County, North Carolina.
Professional ‘website designer’ info about me;
- 1997 I was working at KSA Advertising (Owned Kurt Schleicher) in Tampa, Florida, converting their print medium campaigns to websites.
- 2004 I began working for Roaring Aardvark Web Design in Lillington, North Carolina (Owned by Karen Kratz).
(Let’s get nostalgic for a moment and visit Roaring Aardvarks website on the Wayback Machine when I was still Kaye Barnes) - In July of 2013 Karen Kratz announced her pending retirement from the website design industry, and the close of Roaring Aardvark Web Design, I started “The BarnYard Designer” and inherited most of Roaring Aardvark’s clients.
- Autumn of 2024, post pandemic slump in the industry, I decided to rebrand to “The Tiny Web Ninja” in Chatham County, NC.
Some personal info about me;
- Lived and worked in Harnett County NC from 2000-2019, where I had a horse boarding and riding lesson facility in Angier, NC.
- Currently living in Pittsboro, Chatham County since 2019, where I moved my horse boarding and riding lesson business.
I thoroughly enjoy both of my careers and both my businesses. “If you enjoy what you do for a living, you’ll never work a day in your life”. 🙂
